Presenting the Racked Awards 2012 Winners, Online and Across the Country

New, 1 comment

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Ladies and gentlemen, the votes are in for our second-annual Racked Awards! They've been tallied and tabulated, and re-tallied and re-tabulated again to determined which of our fashion superheroes win the coveted Golden Turban. It's science. To recap, our local sites in New York City, LA, and Chicago compiled nominees for categories like Best New Store, Best Menswear Store, and Sale of the Year, many of which were left up to a reader vote. On the National side, we focused on categories like Biggest Trouble Maker, Best Online Retail Concept, and Best Working It Style to name just a few.

Tonight we'll fete the winners at a party in New York City, but for now, we'll let them bask in their glory here. We thought long and hard as to what stores, brands, and online personalities deserved the mighty prize, and left most categories up for a reader vote. Click through to see all the nominees and winners.
