As much as we love online shopping, there are some things that you should probably buy in person. Diamond rings are one of those things - after all, don't you want to see it and try it on before dropping five figures on a piece of jewelry you're going to have forever?
The fine jewelry brand Ritani has found a way to give you the ease of online shopping with the satisfaction of seeing the bling in person. They've revamped their website and added a whole section about how to choose a ring, what the four Cs mean, and other advice. From there, they can check out different settings, stones, and other customizable options.
But what about shoppers who want custom rings, particularly those who are kind of new to the jewelry thing and might change their minds later? Ritani has you covered. "Because Ritani sources its own materials and manufactures its own jewelry," Fast Company notes, "it can shoulder the financial burden of unwanted items more easily than an independent retailer. In most cases, [company president Brian Watkins] tells me, such rings will be reduced to their parts, which can then be reused."
In other words? Aidan no longer needs to ask Carrie's friends to help him pick out a ring. If only they'd had ecommerce then.
