There's been much to-do about Kate Upton's Vogue fashion spread, which makes a lot of sense in an industry forever enthralled by models who traverse the territory between the sexy men's mag stalwart and the pure-style runway stomper extremes. But it's an especially pertinent issue for Vogue right now. In light of the body image overhaul they've undertaken, the mag is making the argument that Upton is an all-American, athletic-chic girl first, possible example of physical health next, and sort of as a footnote, national sex symbol.
And with that sort of range, Upton has proven she's a versatile model, whether playing the every man's fantasy card (though she's not trying to) or designer's preferred showcase. And sometimes she's even both (See Carine Roitfeld's debut issue of CR Fashion book). So now we'd like to know, which Upton is more convincing? Sexy or chic? Vote after the jump.
