The country's pop stars suffered a severe pants shortage on Sunday's American Music Awards. Victims included Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj, and Christina Aguilera, while Carly Rae Jespen narrowly escaped tragedy by two inches.

Luckily, whatever material was lost on pop was reconstructed into ball gowns for country music favs Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood as well as Psy's harem pants. Check out those looks plus all the neutral-yet-sparkly red carpet stunners after the jump.
