At least somebody's is. While discussing the growing role of mobile devices in sales, Gilt Co-founder Alexis Maybank explains how Gilt customers are taking to their iPhones and iPads in all kinds of unexpected places to shop designer flash sales. All kinds of unexpected places:

"One of our top shoppers is a leading defibrillator implant surgeon. And she pops out for five minutes from the operating room, makes a purchase on her iphone, and pops back in," she said.
