Ryan Lochte Shills for Nissan, Stands By his Grill

Have you been missing Ryan Lochte in your life since Fashion Week? Never fear, he has been hard at work on his endorsement deals and is back in action shilling Nissan Sentras in a new series of dating-themed video ads.

The basic premise is that a goofy guy (not Lochte, a different goofy guy) is trying to get with a cute girl, but keeps screwing things up—the idea being things would go more smoothly if only he had a Sentra. In one spot, he trips and spills a drink on the girl he's trying to approach at a bar, in another he waxes poetic on the hotness of his girl's mom and she overhears—that kind of thing.

In the best one (the one with Lochte!), he shows up to meet his new girlfriend's crew wearing a grill that would put any self-respecting rapper to shame. At the end of the ad, after the hero has been shot down and is standing dejectedly off on his own, Lochte makes a cameo and tells him, "Hey, I think you look great." Take a gander after the jump.

And there's more! Check out this additional spot where Lochte dons a Hugh Heffner-style dressing gown and a Speedo (the kind that comes down to the knees, unfortunately). "You may not have won gold, but you can be gold with the all new Nissan Sentra," quothe Lochte. When is that reality show airing already??
