There may only be one CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner (who, for the record takes home $300,000, plenty of mentoring on all sides of the industry, and the glory), but each of the ten finalists will sell their wares at six Nordstrom locations across the country beginning in February. Not a bad deal at all.
Steven Kolb, the CFDA's chief exec and Racked's own Fashion Phonetics guru tells it like it is, saying, "It is a great opportunity for our 10 designers to have a presence in-store with a major retailer, and this will give their collections great exposure to a broader audience." Shop the up-and-comers from February to May 1 in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles (The Grove), Chicago, and Dallas (Northpark), plus Nordstrom-owned Treasure & Bond in New York, plus look forward to the winner's announcement Tuesday, November 13.
