At Last: Jeans That Update Your Facebook Status

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Italian denim brand Replay may not have as huge a market share as Levi's, but their latest innovation will sure help them stand out from the crowd: jeans that update your Facebook status for you. Their new "Social Denim" collection is full of jeans whose fifth pocket contains a tiny Bluetooth transmitter. You can sync the transmitter up to your smartphone, and - boom! Instant Facebook statuses, Twitter posts, and more.

Considering that the brand's jeans run from $210-$310 a pair, you'd better make sure you tweet enough to make it worth it.
