Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Though fashion blogs were all the classy Michael Kors sheath Michelle Obama wore on election night, it took a moment for the internet to figure out where Sasha Obama's green print circle skirt came from. But now we know: It's a Chris Benz piece from the designer's Spring 2010 collection. Also, Sasha is the second Obama sister to wear it—Thread NY reported back in January, 2011, that Malia wore the skirt to a state dinner.

The designer himself seems quite happy to be in the First Family's good sartorial graces, tweeting, "Oh hello sweet Sasha in CB green skirt on the cover of @nytimes! Congrats to your pops! Xx."

Also, is that nail art we see Sasha sporting?

Mrs. Obama, who by all accounts is not a nail art woman herself, must have let her youngest daughter get creative with her election night mani. From the looks of it, she may have even painted it herself. Maybe that's how they kept themselves occupied as the returns came in?
