Last month Paris Hilton opened her fifth handbag store in Saudi Arabia, and now she's setting her sites on their neighbors across the Arabian Sea: India. After walking Shane and Falguni Peacock's India Resort Fashion Week runway, then DJing last week, she told WWD, "Asia is one of my biggest markets" and (referring to her handbag, shoe, perfume, et. al. brands) she's "looking to expand more in India in 2013."

Hilton has apparently cracked the code to expansion too, explaining that "With the use of Internet, Instagram and Twitter, there certainly has been a globalization of fashion." Of course, it helps that there apparently remains a large market for US pop culture princess-shilled items east of their forgotten television shows.
