Old Navy, Victoria's Secret, and Calvin Klein Are the Top Fashion Brands of 2012

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

It's the end of the year, which means listicle season is in full swing, and today's issue of WWD just dumped a whole bunch of 'em on us. The trade publication has ranked the top ten most-recognized brands in categories including sportswear, ready to wear, accessories, designer, and innerwear (a.k.a. underwear).

Old Navy's gimmicky ads, which included a 90210 renion this year, seem to be working, as they took home the title for top activewear brand. Coach, which has been trying to re-establish its luxury brand identity and tapped Gwenyth Paltrow to front an ad campaign again this year, ruled the accessories category. And, shocking no one, Victoria's Secret rules the innerwear category, thanks to their highly publicized runway spectacle, which you can relive right here. Head after the jump to see the other contenders, as well as who took home the trophy for top designer and ready-to-wear brands.
