Independent boutiques, global reach, via FarFetch

The British Fashion Council has announced plans to peddle their up-and-coming designers through Farfetch.com, the online marketplace that houses hundreds independent boutiques, over the next year. The two are tag-teaming BFC's London Show Rooms initiative, which stages pop-up presentations in major cities around the world, along with other co-hosted events intended to promote the design newbies. With their powers combined, fledgling British brands will take over the world, or at least everyone from the US to China can easily find and shop them.
