Lena Dunham beat out Louis CK, Channing Tatum, and "teachers" in the race for Time Magazine's Coolest Person of the Year title, and all we get is non-snarky appreciation from her. That's right: the title that begs for snark—nay, needs it—simply received this e-mail thank you to Joel Stein, The Cool Person Picker:
"Wow, that is—for lack of a better word—really cool. What an honor. Will I get in any Web trouble for being genuinely, unsnarkily excited to be the first woman to win Joel Stein's Coolest Person of the Year?"Next thing you know, she's going to unironically paint her nails with Girls nailpolish.
