Duro Olowu's Prints Spruce Up JC Penney for Spring

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Take a gander at JCPenny's go at the high-low designer collab, a collection by London-based designer Duro Olowu, and try to contain your print-centric excitement. Props JCP; you did good. Olowu had some help making the magic: artist Bella Foster created a few prints and he commissioned some accessories and bags from old friend Iris Apfel. Even better? The pieces will retail for $10 to $100 and will be available online and in stores come Spring.

Update: In a former version of this post, Olowu's couture collection was on display, instead of his capsule for JCP. Luckily, both are gorgeous, but don't take it from us: The gallery above speaks for itself.
