For the most part, there's one rule to follow when it comes to celebrity-branded fragrances: look for the musicians. Though there are definitely exceptions (like Sarah Jessica Parker), the beauty world has decided that musicians get their own scents while actresses and models get paid big bucks to be the faces of designer fragrances.

This year, Kristen Stewart repped Balenciaga's Florabotanica and Blake Lively fronted Gucci Premiere, while pop stars like Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Justin Bieber put their own names on the bottles. How'd they do? Let's look back on the year that was scented.
