In case you missed it, Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel presented their Metiers d'Art yesterday. The Instagram situation wasn't the finest ever seen, but the house did managed to make argyle and plaid romantic, which is a feat in itself. (It helped that the preferred yarn to spin in the weeks before the show was that time Coco Chanel dated the Duke of Westminster. The pair would hang out in at various estates in the Scottish Highlands, and occasionally pal around with Winston Churchill.
