Not all designers are overly concerned with you being warm, per se, in their winter clothes, but Vivienne Tam took outerwear seriously in her Fall 2012 Collection. Inspired by James Hilton's 1930s novel Lost Horizon, Tam combined Himalayan patterns and fabrics with Western tailoring in her hallmark East meets West style. Cozy shearling collars adorned coats that ran the gamut from classic camel to unexpected stripes, and one particularly luxurious winter white number. Check out our eight favorites in the gallery above.
