In an exclusive behind-the-scenes peek at the Oscars' Kodak Theater, our sister site got the scoop on what, until now, has been the most overlooked Oscar accessory ever: the official Oscar envelope. Luckily, celebrity invitation connoisseur Marc Friedland has stepped in an given it a classy (very gold) makeover. "If you really think about it, the most ubiquitous phrases of the Oscars are 'The Oscar goes to...' and 'The envelope, please," he told our Racked LA correspondent.
