Is Agyness Deyn ditching the US for good? There have been a slew of recent clues that Deyn may be officially returning to her home country: Her London theater debut this season has received rave reviews for one, and her wacky Williamsburg apartment/funhouse sold for $2.175 million this week, according to Curbed, so she's officially no longer a NY resident. And today, it was announced that she's signed on with UK brand Dr. Martens for a collaboration scheduled to hit stores this fall. WWD reports that after Deyn appeared in the Dr. Martens fall 2011 and spring 2012 ad campaigns, a collaborative collection including accessories, clothing, and shoes was a no-brainer, as the punky twosome are both so British, yet so wholeheartedly embraced on this side of the pond.
Which is why it's been a particularly hard blow over here in America to note the telltale signs of Aggy's departure—though one we probably should have seen coming. The States will miss Agyness for as long as she's gone, but luckily we can get our quirky-British-girls-living-in-America fix via other English transplants (Hi, Alexa Chung).
