Aww, Hermes Wants To "Shamrock n' Roll" With You This Saint Patrick's Day

New, 3 comments

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Well isn't this fun! Hermes is known for being a little bit stuffy and Old World (actually it is, in fact, a little bit stuffy and Old World), but it's emails like this one that landed the brand in our Racked 38 favorite e-commerce sites. In our inbox today was this charming invitation to "Shamrock n' roll" with the French heritage house of fashion this St. Patrick's Day. We're not sure exactly why the whimsical side of the brand is unleashed so freely in their online content, but whatever the reason, we hope they were serious about that invitation because WE ACCEPT, Hermes!
