Meanwhile, in L.A.

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Our sister site recently sat down with Jeremy Scott, a designer best known for marrying pop culture with kooky, and talked to the local fashion star about his design process, love-love relationship with Adidas, and his favorite L.A. record store, Amoeba. In the name drop of all name drops, he says, "Every musician I've brought [to Amoeba], like björk—you'd think she's seen it all and had it all—bought tons of stuff." We only wish he told us more about what shopping with björk is like. [Racked LA]
