MAKEUP—MAC's new Reel Sexy line is inspired by the movies, so they asked model Kristen McMenamy and her husband, director Miles Aldridge, to create a mini-film to promote the line. The final product was McMenamy at the movies wearing some seriously insane technicolor makeup and eating paint-covered popcorn (no, really). [Nowness]
FRAGRANCE—Those of us who spent high school hiding out in the library can finally re-create those adolescent years at home with high-end publisher Assouline's new "Books" scented candle. At $49, it's cheaper than a Kindle but way more expensive than a stack of used paperbacks. Choose wisely. [Racked Inbox]
NAILS—British cult nail polish brand Ciaté will make its US debut this month at Sephora. The polishes, which have been endorsed the one and only Jo Malone, have names like Mistress and Oil Slick and come in cute bottles with little bow ties on them. You know, like penguins! [Beauty Counter]
