SKIN—Reality star Bethenny Frankel made headlines when she sold her Skinnygirl drink brand for eight figures. But she's thinking beyond margarita and sangria mixes—her new Skinnygirl Face & Body line is a collection of tinted moisturizers available in sand, beige, and mocha. We think that she missed a prime opportunity to name the shades after alcoholic drinks, but we also admire her ability to keep a brand going. But can she ever make a plumping mascara with a brand name that involves the word "skinny"? [Racked Inbox]
NAILS—Australian makeup goddess Poppy King is partnering with Kate Spade on a line of travel-friendly lacquers. The four polishes are called Watermelon Fingers, Sea Foam Swirls, Solar Orange and Yellow Cockatoo, so you can kind of guess what the colors look like. The inspiration for the collection was Florence Broadhurst, an Australian designer who died under mysterious circumstances in the 1970s. We don't know how Poppy got from there to neon orange and seafoam, but it's certainly peppier than a lot of black. [BellaSugar Australia]
