Kate Spade's Friendship Bangles Are for a Good Cause, Other Than Bonding You and Your BFF

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We'll always have a soft spot in our middle-school hearts for friendship bracelets, which is why we're so excited about Kate Spade's (adult-version) friendship bangles, which you can check out now on the brand's blog. They're all a part of Kate Spade's Hand in Hand collection, which was created with Women for Women International to support women in war-torn countries.

Each of the bangles was handmade in Afghanistan, and they retail from $28 to $58. You can shop the entire Hand in Hand collection here, which also includes a fringe clutch, a circle tote, and beaded necklaces—should you and your BFF want to buy a few more matching accessories.
