Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Interested in being Racked's new art/photo intern? Great! Because we're looking for one. We're currently seeking someone who knows their way around a camera and has experience with both indoor and outdoor photo shoots. We also need someone that's fluent in Photoshop, with an expertise in cropping famous people's heads onto other famous people's heads. And a love of animals helps, as sometimes we'll ask you to take photos like this.
The pay shall be zero dollars and some drink (proper ID req'd); the hours, flexible; the glory, extreme; the possibility for this to grow into an even better opportunity, plausible. Applicants should be forewarned that there's a distinct chance that we will force you to get dressed up and go to fashion parties (We're horrible people, we know). If you're interested, send an email to jobs@racked.com with the subject line "Racked Photo Intern" and a brief description of yourself and your interest in the gig. If you've got a personal blog, Tumblr, or Twitter, include links to those as well. No resumes, please. If we like what we see, we'll get back to you quickly. Thanks.
