Jean Paul Gaultier Named Creative Director of Diet Coke

Today in effervescence, designer Jean Paul Gaultier has been named creative director of Diet Coke in Europe. According to WWD, Gaultier "will design bottles and cans, plus play a role in ad campaigns, online content, and retail concepts throughout 2012." While Diet Coke and fashion have had tight ties ever since being skinny has been a thing, it's fair to expect some exceptionally madcap antics from JPG.
