Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

MAKEUP—Tom Ford's limited edition spring beauty line is all about the metallics. The goods include nail polish (with names like Burnt Topaz and Silver Smoke), cream eyeshadows, and a gold lip lacquer. You don't have to be an impossibly gorgeous Amazon to rock the colors, but it probably couldn't hurt. [Racked Inbox]

MAKEUP—At long last, the Pantone collaboration with Sephora is here. Don't stress if Tangerine Tango doesn't work with your skintone, because there are also nail polishes, cute tools (orange eyelash curler, anyone?) and even tangerine-tinted false eyelashes. How long before Katy Perry goes from blue to orange? [She Finds]

NAILS—Forget about crackle polish. The next big thing for nails is "kaleidoscope polish," and British nail brand Models Own is selling five of them. The bright, bouncy colors are pearlized to create the kaleidoscope effect. Unfortunately, there isn't technology to make your nails do that cool fractured thing...yet. [Racked Inbox]
