J.Crew's rumored collaboration with this year's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winners Joseph Altuzarra, Pamela Love, and Creatures of the Wind has been confirmed by Vogue, and the first pics are finally out. Vogue.com photographed staff members in one limited-edition piece from each capsule in a feature for the site—and since these are Vogue staffers we're talking about here, they all look pretty amazing. Most of the collection details are still under wraps, but here's what we know:
Altuzarra kept it classic with a navy striped Breton sweater (shown above), pencil skirts, and "virtiginous" espadrilles, all of which will be available in stores on Monday, April 23. Jewelry designer Pamela Love tried her hand at a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans, a belt, and a shrunken jacket, which will be out on May 14, and Creatures of the Wind went bright with the jacquard twinset shown above, a floral summer dress, and patchwork oxfords, coming out June 11. You don't have to wait that long to get shopping, though: Altuzarra will be available for order by phone on Thursday, April 19, and the other two capsules will be available for pre-order on the same day.
No word on pricing yet, but last year's collections were in the $200 to $450 range—on the expensive side for J.Crew, but way more affordable than usual for the featured designers. We're expecting about the same this time around. Hop on over to Vogue to see the feature, and don't forget to mark your calendars.
