Models are often the faces (and bodies) of fragrance launches. But Elite Models, a high end agency that represents A-listers like Caroline Trentini, Karen Elson, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, is launching their own line of perfumes. Who wants to work for a client when they can just skip a step and have their own product? Elite's four fragrances are inspired by, in their own words, "the world's hottest cities." Those cities are London, Paris, New York, and Rio de Janeiro, which has to burn for Milan, the only Fashion Week city left out of the mix.
Any time there are four of something for women, you can bet that marketers are going to get all Sex and the City about it. Our predictions for the spin:
· Paris Baby: romantic and feminine. In other words, Charlotte.
· New York Muse: edgy and full of attitude. Um, Carrie, obvi.
· Rio Glam Girl: sexy, vibrant, glam, and en route to the beach. That's probably our resident sex kitten, Samantha.
· London Queen: exhilarating and energetic. Well, that doesn't fit Miranda very well, but she's the only one left so she gets this one by default. Actually, you know what? Miranda was probably Milan.
