Everyone who freaked out about the possibility of J.Crew prints on Manolo Blahnik heels (so... everyone), we have bad news: the collaboration won't be happening, after all. The Cut reports that a J.Crew rep has confirmed the shoes Blahnik produced for the brand's Fall 2012 runway presentation will not be available for purchase this fall, though "they still hope to collaborate in the future." Considering that Blahnik professed he had no idea a collaboration was happening at all, we suspect that's a bit of a long shot.

According to WWD, the collection was going be available online and in select stores under the Blahnik name, for Blahnik prices. If there's a bright side here, maybe it's that you're now just going to have to pick out some J.Crew shoes, for J.Crew prices.
