Diane von Furstenberg and her creative director, Yvan Mispelaere, share their mutual (albeit platonic) love with each other, and with the Financial Times. In the conversation/interview, DVF even admits that she didn't see a single sketch from Mispelaere before hiring him. Her confession: "I offered you the job and then realised I hadn’t asked about [a sketchbook], and then I was too embarrassed to ask because I had already offered, so I finally said: “Maybe you could send me something?” Well, love is blind after all.
