Marc Jacobs isn't new to the beauty world: he has two fragrances and is about to add a third one, ladybug-themed Dot, this summer. In an interview about the launch of Dot, Jacobs let a juicy secret slip: he's working on a makeup collection for Sephora."I see makeup, fragrance — everything, really — as an opportunity. The idea of choosing a color for your lip, or an eyeliner—it's just such a delight," Jacobs told WWD. Also: "We currently are working on defining what Marc Jacobs cosmetics will be, what they’ll say, what makes them distinctive." In other words? There's no concept and no launch date yet, so don't get too excited. Our guess is that Jacobs' collab won't happen until after Karl Lagerfeld's Sephora line has run its course, lest the two style superstars have to compete against each other.
