Dita Von Teese's New Liberty Perfume Is Not for Showgirls

Glamour girl Dita Von Teese has partnered with Liberty of London on a new fragrance, which launches today. The scent is called Dita Von Teese, which ought to be easy to remember. The perfume is the latest addition to her arsenal of products, which includes the Von Follies lingerie line and her very own Christian Louboutin shoe.

Although Dita is best known for her sexy cabaret acts, she insists that her perfume is not "showgirly," which she defines as "pink." Instead, it's for a femme fatale type like Hedy Lamarr. "The bottle of Dita Von Teese is something you find in a black satin handbag of sophisticated women," she said. "However the tassel and the small emblem, which is refined with a martini glass, feathers and a corset, speak in a subtle way to my Burlesque side."
