Steven Colbert to Anna Wintour: "Don't Suck Me Into Your Gay World!"

The timing of Anna Wintour's Colbert Report appearance and President Obama's endorsement of gay marriage resulted in some excellent entertainment last night. While there were plenty of gems in the six-minute segment, here's our favorite exchange of the night:

Wintour: Don't you think you could take a few more risks with your look?...Now that you're endorsing gay marriage, I think Tad would be a little disappointed in your look.
Colbert: Excuse me, Madam. Tad wanted us to wear linen caftans and do it barefoot on the beach, alright?
Wintour: I'm all for that.

And then there was this, in response to a question about Elsa Schiaparelli:
Wintour: I think she had a rather sad life, because when she was a kid she thought that she was so ugly she planted seeds on her face so beauty would grow.
Colbert: Wow. That is heartbreaking. But beautiful at the same time. Don't suck me into your gay world! Don't you do it! Don't you make me have feelings for fashion, young lady!

Good times. See the whole clip after the jump.
