The World Will Have to Wait a Little Bit Longer to See Hedi Slimane's First Collection for YSL

Hedi Slimane's first collections for Yves Saint Laurent will debut this summer, but don't get too excited just yet. Slimane's women's cruise and spring menswear presentations, set to take place in late June or early July, will be an industry-only event, and a limited one at that: Only buyers will be invited to attend, WWD reports, meaning fashion press (including photographers), celebrities, and muses will presumably be left out. If you can hang in there until September, however, Slimane will present his first collection—womenswear spring/summer 2013—to the rest of the world with a traditional runway show during Paris Fashion Week.
