Agyness Deyn's Dr. Martens Collaboration Is a "Wear-It-All-Together" Situation

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

It's hard to resist a clothing line whose inspiration includes fated '90s couples like Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder and Brad Pitt and Juliette Lewis—or maybe that's our childhoods talking. Either way Agyness Deyn's debut collection for Dr. Martens is a totally covetable walk down memory lane. She told Vogue:

I wanted the collection to look like someone had gone into a charity shop, like I did when I was a teenager, and come out dressed head-to-toe in what they'd bought. It's a wear-it-all-together collection.

Get ready to wear "tartan jumpsuits, button-though maxi dresses covered in daisy prints, tough khaki parkas, checked skirts in green and navy, heart-shaped bags and boots"... all at the same time, of course. Thank goodness the collection isn't coming out until Fall. We're going to need us some chilly weather to pile all that on.
