If you wouldn't peg Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler as nature boys, then prepare to be sort of right, sort of wrong. According to a profile on their woodland ways in New York Times, they're no Lewis and Clark, but they do have a country house in the Berkshires, own a tee-pee, and shop at L.L. Bean on occasion. At least, that's where they got their canoe. "It's green," McCollough said. "It's a really nice forest green. And it's from L. L. Bean. You can't hate L. L. Bean.'" There you have it. The boys of Proenza Schouler don't hate on L. L. Bean.
