Her precious...Image via H&M
Anna Dello Russo might have decried the fast-fashion mass production while chatting with Pucci's Peter Dundas, but apparently she's had a change of heart over the past day or two. H&M announced last night that they are collaborating with the Vogue Japan editor-at-large on a collection of accessories that is as opulent as she is.
Quick turn arounds aside, she has been surprisingly humbled by her new role as the first fashion editor to collaborate in this way: “This is the sign of an important evolution in fashion," she told WWD, "and I am both thrilled and humbled to be the one chosen to lead it. I wanted to create precious accessories that are impossible to find."
The piles of gilded trinkets will be sold in early October at only 140 of H&M's countless stores worldwide, so she's almost hit the "impossible" mark. No word on pricing yet.
"Accessories are the focus of my life." And how.
