Christopher Kane was swelling with patriotic pride in Glasgow last night as he accepted the Scottish Fashion Designer of the Year award. He told Elle UK, "I think that Scotland has such a wealth of great fashion talent from design through to production and the heritage is something that we should all be proud of." And though not Scottish herself, Alexa Chung certainly showed her support by hosting the event as well as wearing a sweet, very "Chung" jumper by Kane (over a white collared shirt, of course).

Other winners include Scottish Young Designer of the Year Hayley Scanlan (pictured above); Stella Tennant, who nabbed the Hall of Fame Award for her 20-year modeling career (both Karl Lagerfeld and Mario Testino sent video messages for that one); and Dr Who's Karen Gillan, who was named the Scottish Fashion Icon of 2012.
