You can go ahead and update the 90% likelihood that a Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collab is going to 100%-definitely-going-to-happen status. The Belgian house and the fast fashion behemoth confirmed via press release last night that the rumors are true, and WWD reports the collection is slated for November 15.
In light of the announcement, MMM knocked around the ol' "D" word, saying “The democracy of our fashion has always been at the center of our creativity, and the collaboration with H&M allows us to push this instinct further. We will bring together the contrasting universes of the two houses in ways that will surprise all." We certainly hope so. Commence daydreaming about what the collab will offer, from cleft-toed boots to turtle-necks that double as ski masks to PVC awesomeness.
