Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Each season, our sister site in New York keeps a watchful eye on that critical harbinger of summer: the day the young men at Abercrombie & Fitch stores emerge from their annual winter hibernation waxed, shirtless, and gleaming outside their respective stores, ready and willing to lure in their pre-teen prey. And happily, this year we get to participate in the fun. Torso Watch has gone national—international, in fact—this summer, thanks to this egregiously abtastic, click-baiting video of Abercrombie associates the world over lip syncing and bopping to, you guessed it, Carly Rae's "Call Me Maybe." The gentlemen don't get many points for lip-dub accuracy, or for that matter being good dancers, but what do you want—they're paid to be hot, not to dance. Enjoy after the jump, and let's all thank God it's summer once again.
