If we had a nickle for every time a model talks about how strange she is we'd be ten cents richer today. W published its July cover along with a sneak peak of the interview with the double cover girls Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls. Kloss explains what it's like being a giant even in the modeling world, while Smalls talks Salsa. "They put on Hector Lavoe, the famous Puerto Rican salsa singer, and I started dancing in my six-inch stilettos. They had me jumping, I was dropping it to the floor, I was whipping the jacket in the air. But you have to have coordination, to know where the camera is, to make sure you give a good angle, because sometimes you do weird faces when you dance and you have to realize you're still working!" She did a quick demo, apparently. Ah, to be young, famous, and a weirdo. [W]
