Despite consistently selling out its weekly Fashion Star capsules, H&M has announced that they will not participate in the show's second season. Page Six reports that the brand "decided the reality show was no longer a good fit."
Other things that are no longer fitting in at Fashion Star include host Elle Macpherson. Page Six reports that the former model will stay on as an executive producer at the show, and will be pursuing other TV-related opportunities. “I have been involved with ‘Fashion Star’ from the beginning, and am very proud to see it come to life, not only in America but globally,” Macpherson told the paper. “The show is in great hands, and although I will not be hosting this season, I will still be very involved [and] will be reviewing the format for the upcoming season.”
