Yep, Understated Cool Still Happening for A.P.C. Pre-Fall

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Clogs and boatnecks are the buzzwords for A.P.C.'s Pre-Fall 2012 collection, which is everything we plan to wear next season, incidentally. How do they always do that? The range of muted colors—from black to navy and pastel pink to gold—are as classically understated as the cotton they're made with. In terms of pricing, there are a couple tees for under $100 and the other tops and skirts generally fall under $200. Dresses, pants, and those clogs we're eyeing are in the $200 to $400 range generally.
