Loeffler Randall's Pre-Fall 2012 collection is available for shopping as of today, and it comes as no surprise that the pickings are as cool as they are cute. The cap toes, woven leather, denim, and cork materials feature silhouettes that run the gamut of feminine to punk and cover every style that the every girl would want to (and does) wear. Hence the inspiration for an all-real-girl lookbook. Designer Jessie Randall gathered a team of friends and family to model the footwear, and shared on the brand's blog yesterday how her "real girl" inspiration came about:
The modern woman is interesting in her reality—her quirks, the way she is different. We have so many cool, interesting fans who wear our brand and incorporate it into their wardrobes every day. What better way to promote our product than profiling our friends and the real girls who wear our brand? You're seeing this approach throughout all media these days—from street blogging to Lena Dunham, real people, imperfection, uniqueness— these are things that are inspiring and modern.
