Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
MAC gets the best makeup collabs in the business (Beth Ditto, Wonder Woman), and their latest partnership is no exception: the Archies. Soon, Betty and Veronica will be starring in a collection called "Archie's Girls" that uses their original '50s images in the campaign.
Though there's no word on specific products yet, we're hoping that they sell whatever gives Veronica's hair that nice bluish-black tone. The line will drop next spring, around the same time that Archie debuts crossover comics with the TV show Glee. Sounds like we're about to hit a major Archie resurgence. Jalopies for all!
