We've got a winner! French-born, NY-based designer Sophie Theallet received the International Woolmark Prize yesterday—and at $100,000, it was no small sum. The award was revived by Woolmark this year after lapsing in 2008 and goes emerging designers who, in a nutshell, do cool things with Merino wool. Theallet beat out the likes of Naeem Khan and Prabal Gurung for the wooly honor. [Style.com]
