Stella McCartney, whose main-line intimates are already a success, will be launching a new line of affordable, yet carefully constructed, lingerie called Stella this August. The collection includes five bra styles in colors like electric blue, python, blush pink, and black, and all are made from organic material and recycled metal. Bras will go for $55, and matching panties in lace, mesh, and matte satin for $26. "Feeling constricted by one's underwear just isn't my thing," the designer says. "You need to rely on the quality. It has to fit, function, and do its job first and foremost." You hear that? That means no Stella wedgies for you. [T Magazine]
