Well This Happened: My Little Karl Exists

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We knew Karl Lagerfeld could do anything, but we had no idea he could be anything, as well. Behold: My Little Karl. This little trotter—part Chanel front man, part '90s throwback toy—was made some time ago by German artist Mari Kasurinen, who has created a whole series of celebrity-My Little Pony hybrids. Kasurinen sums up her manifesto saying, "Today a new competition has started—You have to know who you are and what you want. And you have to do it better, bigger and faster than anyone else." Well, that's our Karl. Enjoy your evening, everyone.
