It has come to Alber Elbaz's attention that bags are kind of a big deal, and accordingly he will be amping up Lanvin's offerings next season. What can we expect? "I was thinking about what kind of bags women and men need, and it's always a mix between reality and fantasy," he tells WWD. "On the one hand, we're always finding solutions for people's needs—they really need a big bag because they carry their life in it. The next second you say.
